  • Friday 24 November and Saturday 25 November, there will be no services at Beth Shalom due to the Shabbaton at Carey Park. We hope to see you there.
  • Monday 4 December, 7pm, Beth Shalom Library,visiting author and Rabbi, Jeff Roth “Me, Myself and God”.
  • Friday 1 December pot luck dinner. B’nei Mishnah graduation of  Jessamie Milton, Meg Dickson, Jayden Grauman and Raaz Berman Alfassi as they lead our Erev Shabbat service Please bring a non-meat dish to share.
  • Saturday 2 December, 10am. We will be celebrating our new Torah mantle at our Shabbat morning service. Helen Schamroth will tell us the story of the mantle and what the design depicts. Please bring some finger food to share for a light lunch after the service.
  • Saturday 9 December, Bar Mitzvah, Noah Mass. please join the Mass family for this special occasion. For his Bar Mitzvah project, Noah is collecting children’s stationery (pens, markers, pads, pencils, crayons) on behalf of the NZ Red Cross’s Refugee Programme.  The stationery will be given to children as holiday gifts this December.  Please leave any donations in the box in the shul lobby.  Donations accepted through to Sunday, December 10th.  Thank you so much for your support!!
  • Friday 15 December, Chanukah celebrations.  We will celebrate the 4th night of Chanukah. Please bring your chanukiah to light at the start of our Erev Shabbat service as well as some chanukah food and other food to share for a pot luck dinner.  There will be the Beth Shalom famous dreidl derby for the children after dinner.
  • Sunday 17 December, Hanukkah in the Park, Albert Park Bandstand, 5:30-9pm. See notice in the hall.
  • Saturday 23 December, joint Bat Mitzvah, Jemma Robinson and Amelia Beder. The Robinson and Beder families invite you to share their celebration of the B’not Mitzvah of their daughters.
  • Tuesdays, Israeli dancing for beginners, 7-8:30pm.
  • Wednesdays Israeli dancing classes, 7-8:30pm.
  • PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING A NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEM FOR THE TZEDAKAH BOX.
