The aim of Gen19 is to provide Jewish organisations with evidence to target their resources to areas of most need.  It will provide an informed understanding of change that is occurring and priorities of Jewish New Zealanders.

This is a once in a decade opportunity of you to have your say – to contribute your views to communal planning.  The survey is available online and covers a broad selection of issues and topics.  Your views are very important, and all answers are confidential‐ no personal or identifying information will be collected.

We have completed the Australian part of the survey, with thousands of responses and that of over 500 New Zealand and Australian Olim in Israel, and now it is your turn!

The overall project in led by Professor Andrew Markus at the Australian Centre for Jewish Civilisation, Monash University.  Dr Jim Salinger (B’nai B’rith New Zealand) and Professor Paul Spoonley (Massey University) will be analysing the New Zealand survey findings, together with Cyril Nevezie and Stephanie Markson.   The New Zealand Jewish Council is in support. We invite you to complete the online survey, which on average takes 15 minutes.

To ensure that we obtain a good cross‐section of the community, please encourage your friends and family to participate by sharing this email.
